Plus, we don’t tie you down to using a specific panel of providers or dictate the route you use. However, if you do wish to utilise our relationships with lenders, we can help you with access to exclusive deals, through our Packaging Service.

Compliance support tailored to your business

Our tailored approach to DA Compliance Support provides Mortgage Brokers with a wide range of services to cater to all of their business needs.

  • 1 full day based at your office that can be tailored to suit your business needs. E.g, you may want our Compliance Manager to help you prepare for an FCA visit or provide a comprehensive business review.

Tailored compliance visits

Inclusive in each DA Compliance Support Package is 1 full day compliance visit from a member of our experienced Compliance Support Team. Further visits can be added at an additional cost.

These visits will be designed to suit your specific business needs. Simply tell us what key outcomes you would like to achieve during the visit, and a member of our Compliance Team will then prepare any necessary guidance materials and create a bespoke agenda for the day.

Following the visit, our Compliance Team will send you a report detailing the recommendations made during the visit.

Compliance visits include:

  • TCF reporting assistance
  • Assistance with FCA forms
  • Assistance with new company set-up
  • Complaints guidance
  • Adviser training

Business Referral/Packaging Services

Helping you, to help others

At Ingard we deal with a wide range of financial products, meaning that if you are unable to write the business yourself, or do not have access to the product/provider, you can refer it into Ingard, or use our Packaging service, and still earn commission. We will not cross sell any products other than those you have asked us to deal with.

We deal with:

  • Protection and General Insurance
  • Residential and Buy to Let Mortgages, including complex and packaged products
  • Self-Build Mortgages
  • Second Charge/Secured Loans
  • Bridging and Development Finance
  • Commercial Finance
  • Equity Release
  • Retirement Interest Only Mortgages (RIO)

The process is easy. Just complete our Initial Enquiry Sheet and email to enquiries@ingard.co.uk. Please provide as much detail as you have, along with correct contact details and best time to contact, and be clear on whether you are fully referring the business, or using the Packaging Service. If referring, make sure your client is aware that someone from Ingard will be contacting them.

Please note that you must not be a member of another Network to refer business to Ingard.

Our compliance helpdesk ensures you have direct access to a Compliance Officer by telephone and email. We’re here to ensure your business is protected, and provide guidance, no matter how big or small the query.

Our regular compliance bulletins aim to keep you up to date with the latest regulatory changes and the impact these may have on your business.

You will have access to a comprehensive suite of professional PDF documents which can be easily integrated into your business.


CPD accredited training events

We invite leading high street and specialist lenders and providers to join us at our training and compliance events. These events are free to attend, whilst providing an excellent opportunity for you to network, have discussions with your peers, and earn valuable CPD points. Spaces at these events are limited and priority invites are circulated to Ingard ARs and DAs using our support services first. We also provide regular training webinars, all of which can be accessed and watched again later.

Subscription to the pulse

The Pulse, our quarterly training and compliance magazine, keeps advisers informed of the latest market news, views and updates. Every issue features the independent views of Ingard’s Directors, articles from leading lenders and providers, plus information on our latest promotions and lender launches.

Whole of market mortgage, protection & specialist referrals

There are several ways which you can refer business to Ingard, depending on the level of involvement you want to maintain with the client and the type of case it is:

Locum support

For advisers that work alone or within a small team, having locum support can be a lifeline for your business, should you be unable to work due to a serious life event. Our team will continue to service your clients until you, or a member of your team, are able to return to work.

Case placement & processing

If you want our team to find the best deal, advise the client and complete all of the administrative work, then you simply need to complete the Enquiry Sheet and sent to Ingard, we will take care of the rest. On completion, we will pay you an attractive referral fee for introducing the client to us. If at any point in the process the client wants an additional service, such as protection, then we will refer them back to you to provide this service. If you would prefer our team to also take care of this, then we will pay you a referral fee for this too.

Case packaging

If you want to provide the advice to the client but need to access a product only available through a Packager, then simply send the client’s documents to Ingard, and we will submit the case to the lender. This route will save you a lot of time and energy which could be better spent focusing on your other business areas.

By packaging the case through Ingard, you will have access to exclusive products and lenders who only deal with packagers. In many cases, we will be able to pay you a higher procuration fee on these cases as lenders tend to pay us more on these cases due to the volume of business we produce.

We offer specialist advice for customers with complex or niche needs, which you may not have the permissions, expertise, or just the time to deal with. Our experience and relationships with over 30 specialist lenders ensure our team can negotiate competitive terms and secure exclusive deals for your customers.


You will have access to our Marketing Suite, with ideas to generate business and market to your clients compliantly, and our template documents, such as business approach letters.

Our Compliance Team will review your website and marketing literature to ensure that it is up to date and compliant. If there are areas in need of attention, then we will provide feedback on our findings and the necessary changes which need to be made.
